 Angles 先生はあたまがいいですからイベントはとてもおもしろかったです。What Dr. Angles said about accents especially resonated with me. With 日本語を話す as well as human beings in general, it's comforting to think about our differences as beautiful. It takes some of the pressure off. そして、Angles 先生の詩を聞くのが好きでした。His poem about the fire festival was probably my favorite because it's about becoming an adult and becoming inspired.  Lastly, it was very interesting to listen to a "fluent" non-native speaker. I can't even imagine how good at Japanese he must be to translate literature.
