Bocci The Rock  Bocci the Rock is a cute anime about a socially anxious, introverted, high school girl who just wants to join a band. As fate often does, she is forced into joining Kessoku Band. Over the course of the series, Bocci begins to overcome her social anxiety, befriend her bandmates, and improve as a musician.  This is a very much a relatable, feel-good, anime. It's does feature some interesting animation and unique approaches to conveying certain emotions however overall the show can be a little boring. Its a great watch if you have some time on your hands or just want to nibble of something one episode at a time.

JoJos Bizarre Adventure  JoJo's Bizarre Adventure follows the Joestar family line across multiple generations as they combat evil in the world. In particular, I've been rewatching JoJo Part 5 which takes place in Italy and follows Giorno Giovanna and his fellow gang members on their quest to take down the boss of Italy's main gang Passione. It's very hard to explain JoJo... there's alot going on... I'm just going to touch on two main points. First, the show features absolutely ridiculous battles between characters with bizarre abilities. Second, the show has some of the coolest fashion you will ever see in an anime. Personally, I love JoJo because it's weird and "hype" however objectively it's not a very good show. Even so, I would recommend giving it a try. On that note, you don't have to start with part 1, Instead, I would start with 5 and then if you like it, watch 1-4.

The Legend of Black Heaven         This anime is a little bit hard to explain and I'm not 100% sure I even really know what it's about... I think the premise is that a Japanese salary man who used to be a heavy metal guitar rockstar is recruited by an alien race to help them win a war using his music. All I can really say about it is that the opening is amazing and the premise seems interesting but I'm waiting for any of its brilliance to actually manifest in the show itself. I'm going to give it one more episode because how could fighting aliens with heavy-metal guitar solos not be interesting!

Ping Pong The Animation Ping Pong the Animation is a fantastic show. This was my second time watching it and it held up very well. The show centers around two ping-pong players "Smile" and "Peko" as they enter the world of high school ping-pong. Although the show centers around these two characters it also follows others on their ping-pong journey. Even though the show is about ping pong, it covers themes in all sports and life in general. Talent and lack thereof, motivation, and what it means to "win" are all themes explored in this show. Also, the show is beautifully animated with some of the best sakuga scenes I've ever seen.

Wicked City      This movie was overall terrible. I'm so glad I didn't have to pay money for it. The story centers around a fantasy Tokyo where demons and humans are in a sort of secret war. It follows two agents one human and one demon who attempt to preserve the peace ahead of a finalization of a peace treaty. The colors and imagery in this movie are pretty cool however the story and treatment of women is really hard to watch. Instead of being artful, the explicit content in this movie just felt gratuitous.  Also, it has a terrible ending with absolutely no payoff. I really wouldn't recommend anyone watch it, not worth it. Just look at the cool images instead
